Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is an Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the outskirts of traditional and pop music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the voice of this young artist as sharp with sweetness but with bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving an Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. The album featured collaborations on songwriting with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022 after the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the only solo performer on the show for the very first time ever on the program. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first female to receive both awards.
