Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is known as an Indian actor, known for her starring roles in the movies Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! In the late 80s, she began acting and was a hit with her role of Tezaab, in which she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir on Dil. In Mumbai the city she was born within a middle class family parents. At a very young stage, she was able to dance. Her first attempt at acting was as young and struggled through some years, as many of her initial films had a bad reputation. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success which led her to be one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. Following her marriage, she took a career break and then returned to entertainment. Dixit was the main character for the film Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. She is known for her work in the field of social service as well.
